Hypnosis for Depression
Depression is a serious call for help. If you have found this page due to a concern for yourself or someone you love, I would suggest starting with medical help. It is ideal to get help as early as you can. After this, you can ask your Doctor if Hypnosis would benefit you. If you have a mild case of depression, then we can start immediately to change the “habitual thought patterns” contributing to your depression.
During the progressive relaxation session, your brain will transcend from Beta to Alpha to Theta brainwaves, which is where we can reach the part of your brain blocked by an “underlining limited belief”. When we find this roadblock causing your “negative thinking pattern” we can change it, which changes the emotional charge causing the depression. When the limited belief is desensitized during hypnosis, it will never return again. Once this is accomplished your “brain and body” will take refuge from the bombarding of negative emotions. When your mind returns to its innate, clear, and calm state your brain will create serotonin again and you will feel good. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, everything causing your depression is “post-hypnotic suggestion” that you may have buried. We will uncover the core belief causing the depression. As children, we create “beliefs” to protect ourselves from negative emotional events that have occurred, but these same beliefs do not work when we become adults. The protection mechanisms that we put into our belief system can end up becoming the exact cause of what we are afraid of if they are not studied and altered to better serve us. Sometimes fear is so ingrained it is hard to recognize, say your fear is flying, likely your child will witness your behavior and be alarmed by it. Fears, when recognized, can be reformed into calm understanding responses.
When your brain changes back to its natural calm joyful state, I will teach you how to see a “triggered emotions” as a limited belief and give you all the tools to skate through the “negative emotions” without reverting back to a depressed state. Depression is not your natural state, Joy is. When you are depressed it is hard to take action, I would suggest booking your hypnosis session right now because at this moment you feel motivated to return to get well, and learning how to calm your brain down is the first step to feeling good again.
