How does Hypnotherapy for Pain Relief Work? During the Hypnotherapy Session, the conscious part of the brain takes a vacation, which allows the subconscious mind to overcome the pain.
During this session, my clients will learn how to silence their ruminating thoughts, which are often focused on the emotional distress and pain that has been occurring over time. The results of this session are phenomenal, the brain becomes calm, peaceful and better able to overcome pain, and these results are lasting.
How this works… Ruminating thoughts contribute to the creation of pain. When these repetitive complaint thoughts are silenced, the body stops listening to the stories focusing on pain, and instead of listening to these repetitive complaints will begin to take the direction from this peaceful relaxed state of silence, where the brain and body naturally know how to produce healthy cellular rejuvenation!
When the mind becomes free from the burden of repetitive unhappy thoughts, it directs the body to heal and thrive! Imagine yourself well, completely free from pain, forever and hold that image in your mind. You get what you focus on, there is no other rule.
What is Hypnosis Like? When under hypnosis my clients have experienced peace, relaxation, and their pain disappears completely! This experience shows them that the Mind is in charge of the body. The body will take direction from the Mind, even when the concept of this seems irrational to the normal thinking brain.
All hypnosis is “SELF HYPNOSIS” which means that if you have been in pain, your brain is making stories about this pain as a means to process all the data it is taking in. To stop the pain you need to teach the brain to stop listening to those same painful storylines…or another way of putting it, thinking the thoughts that are lighting up your brain with anxiety, and creating deep neuropathways..” but, instead relax in silence.

In this video Anita explains how she was dying of cancer, her body covered in cancer tumors and her doctors had called the family members to come and say their final good-byes. During this time, her consciousness left her body and she saw that she was really well (on a higher level of understanding). She knew that her body was sick, that she could not breathe without a machine and her body was covered with tumors because she had not been herself. While outside her body she realized that there was no death, and was kind of glad to be out of that sick body, but she realized that this was not her time to go, that she needed to go back into that body and share her knowledge about this experience. So, she went back into her body, unable to even breath and just using her certainty that she was 100 percent well she directed her body to get well.
Whatever beliefs you accept, for whatever reasons, your point of power is the present. It is far more important that you understand this than that you become overly concerned with labyrinthian “past reasons,” for you can get so lost in a negative approach that you forget that these beliefs can be changed in the present. For various reasons, you hold beliefs that you can alter at any time.
I am offering you new beliefs, and all you have to do is come and open up to healing. The more certain you are the more your body will take that direction and heal.
